Head of Breeding for Cereals m/f - Cambridge - RAGT

RAGT 2n , research subsidiary of RAGT Semences, a major player in the selection of field seeds, is recruiting his Head of Breeding for Cereals m/f in France or England based in one of our cereals breeding site.

management of the small grain breeding activities, coordination of all the breeding programs (winter wheat, durum wheat, barley, oat, triticale …) reporting directly to the General Manager of RAGT 2n :

- management of the biggest cereals breeding activity worldwide

- define and implement the strategy

- elaborate and prepare the CAPEX for this activity

- responsible to meet budget and prepare PMT

- with his/her leadership team, manage the breeding, trialling and scientific teams

- member of the R&D management committee

- participate to represent the company in diverse external committees, partnerships or institutes

- Ph D or master degree in plant breeding with experience more than 10 years experience

- knowledge on genomics, MAS, GWAS, GS

- Fluent in English, French is a plus

- several travels in Europe mainly

- leadership and management capacity, collaborative and participative, capacity to decide and deliver

Location : France or England based in one of our cereals breeding site
